Yearn
By Pallavi
I’ve known you long
Long like the stars and moons
In words of deception and trust
You appear simple to me
Like the golden sea
But I often get dismayed
By the thought
Of our terminal disband
To me you are waters
And I am no rain
So, I must cherish
These moments of merry
Before I perish into thin air.
